Sisterhood

Ask anyone in Kappa and they'll tell you how much they love their sisters. We'd do anything for each other - the girls in our chapter are our future bridesmaids and forever best friends!

From the moment you enter Kappa as a new member, you and your pledge class are presented with a variety of activities to get to know each other and the older girls in the chapter. Kicking the year off with Bid Day, you get to meet all your new sisters and learn more about the incredible organization you just joined.

We have specific new member events for our incoming pledge classes to get to know each other and the history of Kappa. The night before Initiation, we have a giant slumber party in our penthouse! It serves as a great way to connect and relax. 

Other fun sisterhood events include Sunday brunches in the penthouse, supporting NYU at sporting events, our annual Holiday Party and Secret Snowflake gift exchange, photoshoots with stores around NYC, and movie nights. We travel the world together and love spending time with each other!

Aside from these formally planned events, we are always doing fun things together, like road tripping to other Kappa chapters, weekly Bachelor Mondays in the penthouse, traveling to tropical destinations together during summer and spring breaks, and rooftop-hopping around NYC. You’ll find that there is no shortage of fun things to do together in and out of the penthouse!
